Overview -. Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice earns a redo in this remastered extended cut of the movie, which includes the IMAX footage in its original aspect ratio and a new Think even darker and more brooding than Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (another fine Warner Bros. 4K UHD Blu-ray release reviewed here by the way). Watchmen is set in an alternate history in the calendar year 1985 at the height of the Cold War between the United States and the Soviet Union. I know this was shot on 35mm film, has lots of night scenes and the 4k disc was derived from an interpositive rather than the original camera negative. Were there other factors or Nolan's own stylistic choices that resulted in Batman Begins looking as it does. His other 4k releases I have watched are superb.
